After a busy weekend with a random road trip to Hot Springs Arkansas, I’m finally back in the groove of things. I need to catch up on the James Patterson Masterclass, a website design, and my writing. But hey, let’s not get too crazy with being responsible because I want to take a minute to talk about inspiration.
I have none. Hmm. That look less than a minute. Okay, go back to your day, sorry I bothered you. When I started this post I thought I had something profound to say, but as it turns out, I’m not really inspired to finish it. Also, I’m kind of hungry, so that may have a lot to do with it.
Seriously, I wanted to talk about how inspired I was after the drive though Hot Springs with its crumbling buildings on what they want to be a busy tourist thoroughfare. But, I have nothing. As it turns out I’ve been inspired for a while, but just lack the necessary follow through to finish a story. This recent bought of “inspiration” is just an excuse to focus on a new story and not finish a current story. Fantastic.
So, long story short (too late – ah Clue) I guess I’ll wonder away and try to figure out what the next steps are. Have any tips for staying focused or do you find yourself in the same boat? Share your thoughts below.
